Catch of Catania Sicily Print | Fish Market print

This print captures the lively spirit of La Pescheria, Catania’s iconic morning fish market. The place was absolutely buzzing alive with sounds, smells, and, yes, the occasional freaky swordfish head!

For this piece, I left the gruesome bits behind and focused on the colourful mackerel instead, capturing their shimmering scales in hues inspired by the souk-like stalls all around which capture the raw energy of the place. 

With so much free time, I got my art on, watercolours out and illustrated the fun, little moments that made Sicily unforgettable.

From sun-soaked streets, oodles of Italian charm, this collection is all about bottling up the dolce vita and splashing it onto your walls.
